Warranty Repair/Exchange

If you receive a defective product or experience problems with your product that fall within the CM4 Limited Warranty, you may process the return on our website and ship the defective product to our warranty department.  First, browse to our warranty return (http://www.cm4.com/index.php/support/) page and fill out the form. Please include the following information in the message:

  • shipping address (address to which you'd like your repaired item shipped)
  • order number (if purchased at http://www.cm4.com/shop)
  • date of purchase and purchase location
  • explanation of the product defect

Note: Your repair/exchange may not be processed if we do not have all your information. 

Our support staff will respond to your request and indicate if you need to return the defective product. If told to do so, ship your defective product with ticket number and all the above-listed information along with proof of purchase (as described in our warranty below) to our warranty department.  You are responsible for any costs associated with shipping your product to the CM4 warranty fulfillment center.  CM4 will cover the costs of shipping your exchanged/repaired item to you. CM4 cannot be held responsible for products lost or damaged in transit to us. We recommend that you insure your package and use a shipper, such as UPS, FedEx, or USPS that allows you to track your package.  Once the product is received, we will process your return and ship you a replacement product.

Product Refund

CM4 guarantees complete 100% satisfaction with your purchase. Merchandise purchased on http://cm4.com/shop may be returned within 30 days of receiving the shipment for a full refund of the product cost or an exchange (see exceptions below).  Please include your name, physical address, email address, and order number with the return. Your return may not be processed if we do not have all your information.

Customer is responsible for return shipping costs as well as products lost or damaged before they reach CM4. We recommend that you insure your package and use a shipper, such as UPS, FedEx, or USPS that allows you to track your package.

Please note: We cannnot refund original shipping and handling charges.


CM4 Premium Warranty

CM4 warrants the original retail purchaser of this CM4 product ("Product") against defects in materials and workmanship for a period one (1) year from the date of original purchase ("Warranty Period").  If a defect arises and a valid claim is received by CM4 within the Warranty Period, at its option, CM4 will repair the Product or exchange the Product with a functionally equivalent new product. CM4 warrants repaired products and replacement products provided hereunder against defects in materials and workmanship from the date of the repair or replacement for ninety (90) days or, if longer, for the remainder of the Warranty Period.  Proof of purchase is required for warranty service and should be retained.  A proof of purchase may be in the form of a receipt or bill of sale, with the model of the product and the date of purchase stated.

CM4’s limited warranty applies only to the Product. The warranty does not apply to any non-CM4 product, even if packaged or sold with the Product. The warranty excludes without limitation any scratching or surface damage to any non-CM4 product, even if packaged or sold with the Product. This warranty applies only to the normal use of the Product in accordance with written use instructions, if any, provided with the Product (either in writing or through a hyperlink to such instructions).

This warranty is limited and is not applicable to: (i) normal wear and tear; (ii) defects or damage caused by misuse, accident (including without limitation collision, fire and the spillage of food or liquid), neglect, abuse, alteration, act of God, unusual stress, commercial use, modification, improper or unauthorized repair, installation, or testing, improper storage, use in an unapproved device; (iii) use not in accordance with the documentation; and (iv) damage caused by the equipment with which the Product is used.

To the extent permitted by law, CM4 is not responsible for direct, special, incidental or consequential damages resulting from any breach of warranty or condition, or under any other legal theory, including without limitation any costs of replacing personal property, or costs of recovering or reproducing any program or data stored in a device used with or carried in the CM4 Product.

This warranty does not cover products purchased open box, sold as-is, by private party resale or any other third party purchases from unauthorized distributors. Transfer of CM4 products through unauthorized distributors renders this warranty null and void. This warranty gives the purchaser specific legal rights, you may also have other rights which vary from state to state that may result in the change of this warranty.
